LINCOLN COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Lincoln County Coroner’s Office has identified remains found Thursday under a railroad trestle.
The coroner says 57-year-old Patrick Wayne Cook, of Hustonville, died after falling from the railroad trestle off Ky. 1778 in the South Fork community.
The coroner says Cook fell 100 feet and suffered several broken bones.
The coroner does not know how long Cook’s body was there, but says his family last saw him in December of 2018.
Cook’s death has been ruled an accident.
