WELCOME HOME: Kentucky solider surprises mom at school

INEZ, Ky. (WTVQ) – A secretary at a local elementary school got a very special surprise earlier this week.

Specialist Cavalry Scout Howard Castle surprised his mother, Garnet Castle.

Garnet is a Secretary Finance Officer at Eden Elementary in Inez, Kentucky.

Howard has been deployed in Europe for over a year with the U.S. Army.
