LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Pancake lovers are flipping out! IHOP will celebrate its 14th annual Free Pancake Day Tuesday, March 12.
Participating restaurants will offer customers a free short stack of buttermilk pancakes from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. They will also be accepting donations for charity partners.
IHOP’s goal is to raise $4 million during the ‘Flip It Forward for Kids’ campaign, to support Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
All funds raised in Lexington, Richmond and Bowling Green during the campaign go toward improving the lives of children being treated at Kentucky Children’s Hospital.
Miss Lexington 2019, Molly Sullivan, will be on-hand at both Lexington locations serving up stacks of hotcakes.
To kick off fundraising efforts early, guests visiting any IHOP restaurant in between now and March 12, 2019, can help reach IHOP’s fundraising goal of $4 million by purchasing a ‘CMN Balloon Icon’ wall tag to publicly pledge support or donate on check. Guests who purchase a $5 wall tag will receive a coupon for $5 off of $10 purchase for their next visit at IHOP.
There is a limit of one free short stack per guest, and the offer is valid at participating restaurants for dine-in only while supplies last, and is not valid with any other offer, special, coupon or discount.
Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals is a network of 170 healthcare providers dedicated to treating children facing life-threatening illnesses.
