LAWRENCEBURG, Ky. (WTVQ) – A large crowd erupted in applause Tuesday night when the Anderson County Planning and Zoning Commission turned down a requested zone change that would have allowed an adult bookstore in the western part of the county, according to the Anderson News.

The proposed adult bookstore would have gone into a building that used to be a general store.
