WHITLEY COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky State Police say three people are in custody for the murder of a man in Whitley County.
Police received a call Monday about a man found dead in a building in Williamsburg.
They arrived to find the body of 45-year-old Billy Lawson.
Police say it appears he was stabbed.
On Tuesday, police announced the arrests of three men in connection to his death.
They say 22-year-old Jordan Miracle, of Pine Knot, 27-year-old James Muse, of Williamsburg, and 27-year-old Jamie Muse, of Williamsburg, are all charged with murder, robbery and tampering with physical evidence.
State police say Lawson’s body has been taken to the State Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy, which is scheduled for Tuesday.
