Danville man arrested for stabbing

An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday in Frankfort in the stabbing death of an Elkhorn City man.

DANVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) — Danville Police have arrested a man who they say stabbed another man and tried to leave the scene.

According to police, they were responding to a call about a stabbing on Seabiscuit Drive, when they saw 55-year-old Michael Sheene blow through a stop sign while driving away.

When they arrived on Seabiscuit Drive, they say they found a man who had been stabbed multiple times.

He was taken to the hospital but his condition is unknown.

When police caught up to Sheene, he was arrested and charged with assault, carrying a concealed deadly weapon, and disregarding a stop sign.
