LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ)-A police officer in Louisville has been accused of raping a woman not once, but twice.

The woman’s attorney says Officer Pablo Cano met her client last year in a park and they exchanged numbers.

Weeks later, the woman claims Cano was wearing his police uniform when he stopped by her house unannounced, pushed his way inside and assaulted her.

The woman also claims he came back the next day and did it again, this time not in his uniform, but carrying his gun.

A police spokesperson says there is an active investigation going on.

Our sister station in Louisville says they’ve contacted Cano’s lawyer, but haven’t heard back from him.
