$2,000 up for grabs in downtown Lexington treasure hunt
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Breakout Games is having a treasure hunt in downtown Lexington and people could find up to 2,000 dollars.
This is an event that Breakout Games puts on in the communities where it’s located.
This year, there is more than four thousand people hunting for money in Lexington.
Breakout Games hid 100 dollar bills in 20 locations and every half hour it reveals the coordinates of those locations on its website and Facebook page.
You can take those coordinates, put it in your GPS, and when you’re at the right spot, you can search by foot.
“We did this last year as a way to give back to communities, to get people out of their 4 walls, essentially we’re bringing the breakout games to the streets,” said Cassie Dilly, Director of Marketing.
Once an envelope is found at one of the locations, Breakout Games will update everyone through the website and Facebook page.
