2 taken to hospital after wreck on Georgetown Rd.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Two people have been sent to the hospital, one with life-threatening injuries after a wreck on Georgetown Road, according to Lexington Police.

Officers say weather was likely a factor in the 2-car accident on Georgetown Road between Hurrican Hall Road and Iron Works Pike.  The accident caused a major traffic impact along the road.

According to officers there was one person in each car, both were taken to UK hospital.
