2 in serious condition after Laurel Co. motorcycle collision

LONDON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Laurel County Sheriff says that 2 people had to be airlifted to UK Hospital for treatment of serious injuries after a crash on KY 770.

The Sheriff says the crash happened at about 11:30 a.m. on Sunday.  Deputies say that a GMC Sierra bucket truck was turning into a parking low when a motorcycle collided with it.  Both the driver and the passenger on the motorcycle were thrown off the bike.

Both of them had to be flown to the hospital by helicopter.

The driver of the truck was not injured.
