2 sent to hospital after wreck on Winchester Rd.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Two people were sent to the hospital after a nasty crash on a busy Lexington road Thursday morning.

The Lexington Fire Department says it happened around 10:00 a.m. in the 600 block of Winchester Road.

The accident involved two vehicles, say firefighters.  It’s unknown how many passengers were in each.

The Lexington Fire Department says they don’t have word right now on the condition of the two taken to the hospital.

They did say one person had to be extracted from their car.

Police are investigating the cause.
