Two airlifted after crash involving school bus in Laurel County

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office says a serious crash involving a school bus happened around 4 p.m. Friday where two people were airlifted to the hospital.

Deputies say a car occupied by a driver and child hit the back of a school bus. They say the school bus activated its stop arm equipment. No one on the bus was hurt.

Deputies say the driver and child of the car were airlifted to UK Hospital for serious injuries.
