2 new deaths reported from COVID-19 in Fayette County
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Lexington-Fayette County Health Department has reported the COVID-19 numbers continue to show signs of stabilizing. The department reported 191 new cases on Monday, bringing the total to 30,569 since the outbreak began in March 2020.
According to the department, two deaths were also reported. The total number of people who have now died from the virus in the county is 211.
The department says because it moved to a 6-day work week, no data was entered for Sunday, “Any cases from Sunday are processed Monday and reported Tuesday morning. This will not affect the 7-day rolling average, which is currently 127 cases/day.”
