2 Knoxville men arrested in veterinary clinic burglaries

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) -Lexington Police say they have charged two men in Knoxville with a series of veterinary clinic burglaries in Lexington that happened over the summer.

According to officers, expensive flea and tick medications were being taken from the clinics.  While they were investigating the burglaries, they say they were contacted by detectives from Knoxville who were suspicious two men in the Knoxville area were responsible for the crimes.  On September 20, the Knoxville detectives arrested Jason Leffew and Timothy Ross for similar thefts in Knoxville.  On September 23, Lexington detectives went to Knoxville to investigate, and were able to charge the men with three counts of burglary.

Officers say the two men were responsible for burglaries at Noah’s Ark Animal Hospital on May 31, and the Regency Animal Hospital on June 1, and September 1.
