2 hospitalized after fire on Lisle Road in Georgetown

GEORGETOWN, Ky. (WTVQ) — Two people are hospitalized after a fire broke out Wednesday morning on Lisle Road in Georgetown.

Around 6:15 a.m., Scott County fire crews were sent to a structure fire involving three separate buildings on the same property: a detached garage, carport and storage building.

Two people were hospitalized, according to the Scott County Fire Department.

Both people have non-life-threatening injuries, Georgetown-Scott County Emergency Management Agency said.

The fire has been contained.

Crews are now investigating the cause and origin.
