2 enter guilty pleas in 2014 robbery, shooting

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Two people accused of shooting a 19-year-old during a robbery in Lexington last year have pleaded guilty.

The Lexington Herald-Leader newspaper says Chauncey Ingram pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter in the death of Jeffrey Adams.

Adams was shot in the hallway of an apartment complex on McCullough Drive in October of 2014.

The newspaper says the other suspect, Sayvon Thompson pleaded guilty to a facilitation to commit manslaughter charge.

Both also pleaded guilty to  robbery and tampering with evidence.

Formal sentencing has been set for January 15.
