2 children, 1 adult dead in fiery crash in Richardsville

Richardsville, Ky. (AP) – Two children and one adult have died in a fiery car crash in Richardsville.

Warren County Sheriff’s Office Maj. Tommy Smith tells local media that 50-year-old Robert R. Vick was driving Tuesday morning when, for unknown reasons, Vick traveled off the road’s shoulder and struck a tree. The car caught fire, killing him and two of his grandchildren, 7-year-old Paul Roth and 1-year-old Daymon Roth.

Paul Roth was a student at Richardsville Elementary School. Principal Jan Casada says the district is setting up grief counseling to help the community.
