2 arrested in Lyon County on drug, forgery charges
KUTTAWA, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky State Police say two men are behind bars after drugs and a fake social security card were found during a traffic stop Monday morning.
Troopers say they stopped a vehicle on I-24 in Lyon County at around 8:30 a.m. During the traffic stop, investigators say they found heroin, meth, marijuana, and two types of prescription drugs, along with the forged card.
The driver, 39-year-old Esteban Carmona-Hinojosa, of Nashville was charged with reckless driving, driving without a license, possession and trafficking. A passenger, 21-year-old Rey D. Guzman-Perez, also of Nashville was charged with possession, and having a forged document.
They were both taken to the Caldwell County Jail.
