2 arrested on drug charges after complaint call

LONDON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Two people are behind bars after the Laurel Co. Sheriff says deputies were called out to investigate a report of an “out-of-control” man on dean Oakley Road.

According to a report from the Laurel Co. Sheriff’s Office, deputies received the call just before 10:00 p.m. on Monday.  When they arrived, deputies say they learned that the man had been beating on the door of a home.  Shortly thereafter, Deputies say they found 38-year-old Michael Tuttle and 35-year-old Jensa Ridings hiding in a nearby wooded area.

After further investigation, deputies say they found a “large quantity” of syringes on the two, as well as baggies containing residue and other drug paraphernalia.

Both Tuttle and Ridings were arrested and charged with possession and public intoxication.

They were taken to the Laurel Co. Detention Center.
