RICHMOND, Ky. (WTVQ) – Two men are behind bars after police in Richmond say they were arrested in connection to a burglary at the Dollar General Store on Boonesboro Road on Tuesday.

Officers say the two men were pulled over just before 3:30 a.m. Wednesday morning on Lexington Road for a traffic violation.

Investigators say the car matched the description of the vehicle involved in the Dollar General burglary.  When officers searched the car, they say they found items linking 32-year-old Brandon Littleton and 39-year-old Jimmy Saylor to the burglary.

Both were arrested and charged with criminal mischief and burglary.  They were taken to the Madison Co. Detention Center.
