19-year-old worker killed in Harlan County electrocution accident
HARLAN COUNTY, KY. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Authorities are investigating a deadly work accident in Harlan County.
According to the Harlan County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded Tuesday morning to a job site in the Holmes Mill community.
Officials say 19-year-old Bryson K. Cottongim of Manchester was working from a bucket truck installing fiber cable when he suffered electrocution injuries.
Cottongim was pronounced dead at the scene by the coroner just after 12:30 p.m.
The incident remains under investigation.
