Danville PD: Man Arrested for Shooting Gun in Backyard
DANVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Danville man was arrested early Wednesday morning after police say we was intoxicated and shooting a gun in the backyard of his home.
Danville police say they were called to a neighborhood in the area of West Erskine Avenue and West Mason Avenue at about 2:45 a.m. on a report that shots had been fired.
After arriving, officers say they heard more shots fired, and traced them to 55-year-old William J. Parkey in the backyard of a home on West Erskine Avenue.
He was arrested on charges of alcohol intoxication and several accounts of wanton endangerment.
He was taken to the Boyle County Detention Center.
