16 area senior centers set opening days, plans
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Bluegrass Area Development District is announcing the reopening of its 18 senior center sites.
Each county has a different reopen date. They will begin with congregate meals and gradually phase in transportation and other services/programs.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, BGADD had to close its senior center locations in March 2020. During the past 13 months, the centers have continued meal service to more than 3,600 participants, serving 565,930 meals.
The following senior centers will resume in-person services according to the dates listed below. Contact the center for more detailed information.
