14-year-old girl stabbed in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police are investigating a stabbing that sent a 14-year-old girl to the hospital. It happened on Bainbridge drive off of Man o’ War Boulevard Sunday afternoon.

Police say the incident stems from something that happened Saturday night.
A group of juveniles were in the middle of a fight this afternoon and an adult stepped in and stabbed the victim.

That woman has been taken into custody for questioning.

They say the victim has a minor injury to her hand.
