12 malnourished puppies dumped at Nicholas Co. shelter

NICHOLAS COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – An animal welfare group wants to find the person responsible for dumping a dozen emaciated puppies outside the Nicholas County Animal Shelter.

The Paris Animal Welfare Society says the 12 puppies were found in a box outside the shelter before 10 a.m. Wednesday.

The group says the person may be driving a white car.

The shelter is asking for donations of canned puppy food, puppy formula, large blankets and heating pads.
