KSP: Body found after Harlan house fire

HARLAN, Ky. (WTVQ)- State police say a man’s body was found after a house fire in Harlan County.

Troopers say it happened early Wednesday morning at a home on KY-413 in the Baxter community. State police say the homeowner had reported the fire.

According to investigators, the coroner was called to the scene after 25-year-old Jerry Robert Langley was found inside the house. They say an autopsy is scheduled for the victim. State police say one of its arson investigators and a deputy state fire marshal were called to the scene.
