Richmond PD: 3 arrested had meth around children

RICHMOND, Ky. (WTVQ) – Three people have been arrested in Richmond after officers found them with drugs in a room with two young children.

Officers say 42-year old Christopher Thomas (above, left,) 28-year-old Nikki Haid (above, center,) and 32-year-old Gerald Conner (above, right,) were arrested Friday.

Police say the three were found in a room with a syringe and methamphetamine, along with a 6-year old and a 10-year old.

According to investigators, the 6-year old child handed an officer a bag containing a clear pipe with meth residue in it.

The three were arrested and taken to the Madison Co. Detention Center, charged with possession and wanton endangerment.

Social Services were contacted to care for the children.
