101st reactivating Division Artillery Brigade

FORT CAMPBELL, Ky. (AP) — The 101st Airborne Division at Fort Campbell is reactivating the Division Artillery Brigade during a ceremony Wednesday morning at the post.

The 101st says Col. Kyle J. Marsh of Pendleton, Indiana, and Command Sgt. Maj. Carl A. Fagan of Thomaston, Georgia, will assume leadership.

The brigade was inactivated about 10 years ago as part of the Army’s restructuring.

The 101st Airborne Division Artillery participated in World War II in action in Normandy, in 12 campaigns during Vietnam, in Desert Shield and Desert Storm and during the initial invasion of Iraq in 2003.
