UPDATE: Third arrest in connection to deadly Woodland Ave. shooting

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Lexington police say there has been a third arrest in connection to a deadly shooting on Woodland Avenue. It says the suspects are U.K. students.

Police say last weekend, four men had a plan to rob another man, during a supposed drug deal. Investigators say the intended victim pulled out a gun, and shot two of the plotters. They say one of them, James Gordon, died.

Police say the shooter claimed self-defense and has not been charged. Police are accusing Jaydon Whalen, Nicholas Coriaci , and Alex Ferrell of robbery. They say Ferrell was arrested Tuesday, and the two others, Monday.
