1 person facing charges following disturbance at Lexington apartment complex

Update: April 17 at 9 p.m.

One person is facing charges following a disturbance call at a Lexington home, police report.

According to LPD, officers responded to the 600 block of East Sixth Street just before 6:30 p.m. Friday. An ABC 36 crew saw officers force their way into the home while on scene.

19-year-old Amilion Fields faces charges of concealing a deadly weapon, tampering with physical evidence and possession of synthetic drugs (first offense).

An ABC 36 crew has confirmed that a large Lexington Police and fire presence at an apartment in the 600 block of East Sixth Street.

One person was seen taken into police custody.
