$1 million winning Mega Millions ticket sold in Stanton

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – One Mega Millions player found their lucky golden ticket  on Tuesday, when they realized they had purchased the numbers that matched all the white balls drawn last night.

This player did not get the Mega Ball, but did win the game’s second prize of $1,000,000, with the numbers 2-9-11-22-23, said the Kentucky Lottery’s VP of Communications Chip Polston.

“If you have this ticket, sign the back of it, jump in your car and get to our headquarters in Louisville – we have a four foot long check waiting for you,” said Polston. He added that they will be releasing the name of the retailer who sold the ticket Wednesday afternoon, after they finish security checks.

Tonight’s Powerball jackpot stands at an estimated $188 million, according to Kentucky Lottery
