1 killed in wrong way crash on New Circle Rd

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington Police are investigating a fatal wrong way crash that happened early Sunday morning.

This is the second fatal wrong way crash in Lexington within 24 hours.

Police say it happened around 1:40 A.M. Sunday, on New Circle Road near Harrodsburg Road.

The Fayette County Coroner says 54-year-old Robin Gadd from Madison County was driving the wrong way on New Circle when she hit another car head on.

She died at the scene.

Information on the condition or name of the other driver has not been released.
