Dramatic video from fatal crash on I-75

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) -Around 11 A.M. Sunday morning the southbound lanes on I-75 were shut down near exit 90 because of a crash.

The Madison County coroner says a load of wood fell off a semi and caused several crashes.

The truck driver, 54-year-old Billy Ray Berry from Tennessee was going north when he had a medical emergency and hit the barrier in the center of the road.

He was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

The coroner says he didn’t see any injuries on him that would indicate he died because of the crash, but he’s sent him for an autopsy just to be sure.

Six to eight other cars crashed in the southbound lanes, meaning several people were treated at the hospital for minor injuries.
