UPDATE: Lexington death no longer considered homicide

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Fayette Co. Coroner says a death in Lexington is no longer being considered a homicide.

Lexington Police say someone found a man in a Penske truck on Alexandria Drive Tuesday afternoon.  He was identified as 33-year old Barry Slaven of Harrodsburg.

Originally, the coroner said Slaven had been shot to death.  This morning, a coroner’s report says the cause of death was a ruptured cyst that had hemorrhaged.

Information online says Slaven was the father of two young children, a Veteran and had been missing since Sunday. That information was not released by Lexington Police or the Fayette County Coroner.

A gofundme account was set up for his family.
