Wiggins Signing Recap

It’s finally over Solid Blue fans.

Andrew Wiggins, the top prospect in the class of 2013, picked the Kansas Jayhawks earlier today in Huntington, West Virginia…leaving Kentucky with just six McDonald’s All-Americans for next season.

While it may be tough for some in the Big Blue Nation to swallow, it’s a good fit for the 6’7", 200 plus pound small forward.

Andrew’s brother Nick will be at Wichita State for one more season playing with the Shockers.

It’s roughly a three-hour round trip from Lawrence to Wichita…so family will once again be close as the most highly-touted recruit since LeBron James makes his way west from Huntington.

The national letter of intent finally signed, sealed and delivered to Bill Self earlier today.

But as Wiggins begins to think about playing for rock, chalk, Jayhawk next season…did anyone really know where he was headed before today?

Hear from Wiggins on picking KU and recruiting guru Evan Daniels on what it means for the Cats in the attached videos.
