Jordan joined the ABC 36 family in December of 2022 as a weekend meteorologist for the ABC 36 Storm Team. He studies at Mississippi State University online, earning his bachelor’s degree in broadcast meteorology. Jordan is a Kentucky native born and raised in Mt. Vernon. Working in the Lexington TV market has always been a dream, and he is so thankful to start his TV career at home, forecasting the weather for his home state of Kentucky!
His passion for weather started at a very young age and grew stronger as he got older. On March 2, 2012 Jordan watched Chief Meteorologist T.G. Shuck and other Lexington meteorologists stand on TV for hours, warning the people of Central and Eastern Kentucky of the devastating tornadoes ripping across the state. He could hear the difference in their voice as they tried to keep the people safe and let them know what was coming. Ever since that day, he knew he wanted to be a broadcast meteorologist and warn people of the dangers Mother Nature could throw their way.
When Jordan isn’t on TV or tracking the weather, you can probably find him watching sports or hanging out with family. He is a die-hard Kentucky fan. Go Big Blue!
