BELL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – A missing 34-year-old Bell County woman was found dead by a Bell County Rescue Squad searcher at about 11 a.m. Tuesday.

According to the Kentucky State Police, foul play is not suspected.

Troopers confirmed the body was that of Candace Lynn England. The body was found near where she was last known to be.

She was the daughter of Middlesboro Fire Chief Robert England. She leaves behind an 11-year-old son.

An autopsy will be conducted at the State Medical Examiners Office.

KSP is continuing the investigation.

Management are searching for a missing 34-year-old Middlesboro woman, according to the Kentucky State Police.

Candace Lynn England was last seen walking in the woods near Canon Creek Lake at 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 12, 2021.
A cellphone ping put her last known location near Highway 25E near the site of the former Vendors Mall just south of Bell County Solid Waste at approximately 10 p.m., according to the report.
She is 5’6”, 130 pounds with blonde hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black tank top with gray and pink gym shark fitness pants.
She has a tattoo covering her full right arm, a flower tattoo on her shoulder, a tattoo of a clock on her right side and a tattoo on her low back, according to the KSP.
KSP is continuing the missing person investigation with Bell County Rescue and Bell County Emergency Management conducting ground searches.
