SALYERSVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – Drivers should expect temporary road closures on a portion of KY 134 in Morgan County due to pipe installation work.
KY 134 will be closed at the 0.9 mile marker in the area of the Mountain Parkway overpass. The closure will run from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. on July 26 and July 27. Mountain Parkway Exit 60 and the KY 134 interchange will still be open during the road work.
On July 28, crews will install another pipe at KY 134’s 3.15 mile marker also near the Mountain Parkway. The road will be closed from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
There will be no marked detour. Motorists should find an alternate route during the closures, drive with caution and watch for signs and workers in the area.
KY 134 typically has close to 170 vehicles travel through each day.
