‘Disorder’ at end of Fair results in no injuries or arrests: Police


LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A disorder causes a stir as the annual Bluegrass Fair was closing Sunday night. But in the end, no injuries or arrests were reported, according to police.

According to Lexington Police, “at approximately 10:35 p.m. Sunday, officers responded to the fair for a disorder. Officers were able to disperse the crowd and no arrests were made. Also, a report came in at the same time that a person may have a firearm but officers were unable to substantiate that information after further investigation.”

Rumors of a stabbing and other incidents also were not confirmed, according to police.

The annual Fair, presented at Masterson Station Park by the Lions Club, closed out its 10-day run Sunday night with record attendance.
