HICKMAN COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – An Internet Crimes Against Children Investigation has resulted in the arrest of a man from Hickman County.
On Thursday, the Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch arrested Allen S. Collie after investigators say they discovered he was sharing sexually explicit pictures of children online.
Following Collie’s arrest, investigators conducted a search warrant at his home in Clinton, Kentucky and collected technology they say could be used to commit the crime and took it to their laboratory for forensic examination, according to the KSP.
Collie has been charged with three counts of distribution of matter portraying a minor in a sexual performance and 99 counts of possession of matter portraying a minor in a sexual performance, the KSP said.
Both charges are Class-D felonies that can result in up to five years of prison time.
