LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Fayette County’s new coronavirus cases remained below 200 for another day Monday, but it could be a factor of the weekend rather than a slow down in holiday-related surge.
According to the Lexington-Fayette County Health Department’s morning report Tuesday, the county confirmed 154 new coronavirus cases Monday, bringing the county’s total to 25,779. That followed days of more than 200 and 300 new cases last week.
The county reported no additional deaths, leaving the number of people lost to virus-related causes at 167.
