KY nursing homes to receive more than $5 million in aid

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – U.S. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell announced Friday 182 Kentucky nursing homes will receive more than $5 million in funding.

The $5,332,001 will be distributed by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) through the CARES Act, according to McConnell.

According to HHS, the federal funding is delivered to nursing homes through performance-based incentives to slow the spread of the coronavirus.
