MARION COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – A 57-year-old Marion County woman has died from injuries after she brutally assaulted early Sunday by a man in her home.
Pamela Renae Anderson died at about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at the University of Kentucky Medical Center, according to Fayette County Coroner Gary Ginn, calling the case a homicide.
She’d been brought to UK following the assault which occurred in her home at 580 Penick Road near Lebanon, Ky., according to the Lebanon Enterprise newspaper.
An autopsy is scheduled, Ginn said.
Lebanon Dispatch received a call at 1:51 a.m., Sunday, about a woman who had been beaten, the newspaper reported. The victim had managed to escape ad get to a neighbor’s residence across the street to get help.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Department is handling the investigation but the suspect remains at large, according to the newspaper.
Marion County is just west of Boyle ad Casey counties.
