LAWRENCEBURG, Ky. (WTVQ) – A man’s reported drunken, racial-laced rant landed him in trouble in more ways than one.
According to the Anderson News, 28-year-old Dillion Treadway was found outside the La Isla Mexican restaurant in Lawrenceburg in Anderson County at about 8 p.m. Wednesday with a bloody nose and intoxicated.
Treadway apparently entered the business carrying his own alcohol and when he was asked repeatedly to leave, yelled racial slurs at minorities, the News reported.
When officers arrived, they found Treadway lying in the parking lot with his nose bleeding. He smelled of alcohol and his speech was slurred, the News reported, citing arrest citations. Police said it was unclear who punched Treadway but witnesses said he continued to yell racial slurs in the parking lot and tried to fight people, the newspaper reported.
It is unclear whether anyone else was cited.
Treadway continued to yell racial comments after Anderson County EMS transported him to Frankfort Regional Medical Center for medical clearance, according to the newspaper. Once treated, he was jailed for first- and second-offense alcohol intoxication in a public place and second-degree disorderly conduct, according to the newspaper.
