Thefts were in Deer Lake, Mallard Point and Moon Lake subdivisions and cars were targeted between 1 a.m. ad 4 a.m.

Sheriff’s investigators spent Tuesday recovering vehicles and taking reports for numerous thefts from other unsecured vehicles.

Detectives are asking residents of those areas with security systems and video cameras to check them for anything suspicious.

The public can call 502.863.7855 if they have video of anyone Monday night or early Tuesday in these areas.

The Scott County Sheriff’s Office wants to remind everyone to lock their car doors and close garage doors at night. Do not leave keys in automobiles that are parked in driveway or garages.
