Volunteers will remove items directly from the back of vehicles to reduce person-to-person contact.

“Over these last few months, Crossroads Lexington has continued to look for ways to
serve our community, especially those most vulnerable. Our food drives go directly to those
people who need it the most,” Crossroads Lexington Community Pastor Bryan Carter said.

Crossroads closed its buildings in mid-March due to the COVID-19 pandemic and they
will remain closed through the end of 2020, but the church has continued to serve communities near its sites through a variety of efforts including giving 92,000 pounds of food to community partners, sewing and distributing more than 21,000 masks to frontline workers, providing 9,000 care kits for children in need, and more. In Lexington, the church gave $15,000 to provide childcare for local healthcare workers, delivered meals weekly to kids in the Woodhill Center program, and partnered financially and in ministry with Cadentown Baptist and Mt. Calvary Baptist churches in addition to other initiatives.

Worship in the Bluegrass is an in-person outdoor worship event that includes live worship, unfiltered talk and biblical truth happening at 10 a.m. each Sunday in the Crossroads
Lexington parking lot.

Participants are required to wear masks and follow social distancing guidelines as well as bring their own lawn chairs or blankets for seating. Details are available at crossroads.net/weeklyworship.
