Deputies were dispatched to a possible burglary at the address and arrived to find the rental house “completely destroyed inside with furniture turned over, holes in the wall, antifreeze poured on a bed, broken dishes all over the place,” according to the sheriff.

A woman who lived there showed up and told deputies her boyfriend had assaulted her, punched her in the stomach, although she is reportedly three months pregnant, and the face, and destroyed the house, according to the sheriff’s Facebook post.

As deputies investigated, Hopkins showed up, apparently high on drugs, the sheriff said.
