One shot, three charged in home-invasion robbery

investigators say.

According to Laurel County Sheriff John Root, Nathan M. Myers, 20, of Chera-Lyn Lane in London, Logan Simpson, 19, of Jack Moses Road in Williamsburg, and Andrew D. Myers, 23, of Chera-Lyn Lane in London, are charged with first-degree robbery.

Simpson acted as the driver during the robbery and \Myers acted as the lookout, the sheriff said.

A fourth suspect, who is being treated for gunshot wounds at UK Medical Center in Lexington, faces charges.

The three were arrested in London by Sheriff’s Lt. Chris Edwards at about 1 p.m. Friday/

The charges stem from at attempt to rob a home owner of money and “possible illegal narcotics” at about 4:30 a.m. Friday at a home on Upper Indian Camp Road about 10 miles south of London in the Keavy community, Root said.

Assisting in the investigation for the Laurel County Sheriff’s office were Maj. Chuck Johnson, Det. Kyle Gray, Deputy Brad Mink, Sgt. John Inman, Deputy Tommy Houston, Deputy James Fox, Sgt. Brett Reeves, and Deputy Brent France.
