LEXINGTON, Ky (WTVQ) – After one year coaching the inaugural season for the Great Crossing Warhawks, head coach Paul Rains is resigning.
Rains posted the below statement on his Twitter page.

Rains will also be retiring as a teacher.
In the first season, Rains coached his very young roster to one win over Grant County.
Rains has spent time at schools all across the state coaching at eight different schools including; Letcher Central, Hazard and Dunbar before Great Crossing.
