LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – As impacts on local businesses continue to grow from COVID-19, the Kentucky Small Business Development Center hopes to help through weekly webinars.
“This is a little stressful, more than a little, for companies,” said Kristina Joyce, state director of the center.
To help, Joyce says ‘Wednesday Webinars’ were created as a way for them to provide resources and information to area small businesses, “In these challenging times, understand how to look for things to keep you in business and to keep you going. And then more importantly, hopefully after all this crisis is over, have you to be stronger on the other side.”
Joyce says the KSBDC is a statewide organization funded by U.S. Small Business Administration thanks to a collaborative effort.
With updates from the federal government and on the state level constantly changing, Joyce says these weekly webinars share the latest information with Kentucky small businesses.
The ‘Wednesday Webinars’ are posted weekly at 12 p.m. free of charge on their social media platforms.
Joyce says they’re also working on creating another segment specifically for questions and answers on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s.
Joyce says people can always call their hotline 1-888-475-7232 with specific questions regarding their particular county.
